I’m Laurie, a proud Houstonian, world traveler, and devoted dog mom to my dachshund, Coco Chanel.

​

​My passion for photography began in the early 2000s while traveling the world. After earning a finance degree during the Great Recession with a challenging job market, I followed my heart, invested in professional training, and launched my own wedding photography business in 2010. Within one year, I was honored as "Best of Weddings on The Knot." Through 2016, I had the privilege of capturing love stories at breathtaking destinations in Cabo, Dallas, New Orleans, and premier local venues like The Houstonian, Brenner’s on the Bayou, and The Bell Tower on 34th.

​As my wedding clients started growing their families, they invited me to capture the next chapter of their lives. This is where I fell completely in love with family photography, especially the unfiltered, fun moments with children!

​After taking a ten-year pause and moving from The Heights area to Garden Oaks in 2021, I am thrilled to return behind the camera in 2026. I am back with a fresh passion and years of professional expertise, specializing exclusively in family photography. As an on-location, weekend photographer, I look forward to creating beautiful memories right where you feel most comfortable, happily serving The Heights, Oak Forest, Garden Oaks and Greater Houston.
